Your application process will begin online with a short application form to which you’ll need to attach your CV. Please ensure you have reviewed the details of the programme you are applying for carefully before beginning your application.
To find out more about the different stages you’ll need to go through and what you can expect from each, simply roll over the different headings below.
Once you’ve submitted your application we’ll review it carefully to make sure you meet the entry requirements for your chosen programme. We’ll also be looking for accuracy – so check all your spelling and grammar before you press submit!
If your initial application is successful, we’ll invite you to undertake a numerical reasoning test – this normally takes 20-30 minutes to complete online.
Pass this test and we will arrange a competency-based telephone interview with you. It takes about 30 minutes and gives you the chance to show us that you have some of the key skills we believe are fundamental to success at Santander.
The next stage will be to attend an assessment centre, where you’ll complete a variety of exercises to test your interpersonal skills. As part of the day, you’ll have a further interview with a senior manager and you might be asked to participate in group exercises or give a presentation.
After the assessment centre, we’ll let you know as quickly as possible whether your application has been successful. However, we might ask you to meet with us again for a final interview, depending on the business you’re applying for.
If you’re successful, we’ll verbally offer you a position, subject to you meeting our fraud, credit and referencing checks.
Our graduate programmes all start in September 2013 and summer internships will begin in July 2013.
