Asset Management (closed)

Overview »

Santander Asset Management manages a wide range of assets across many different markets around the world – including mutual funds, pension schemes and hedge funds.

With a presence in 12 countries, our division has over €136 billion assets under management and a team of more than 750 professionals.  We support the Santander banking network in the development of their retail propositions by managing funds and developing investment products that create value for customers. How do we do this? By bringing our global expertise in investments and matching this with knowledge of local markets.

The internship will give you real insight what it takes to be an asset manager. Joining one of our UK teams in either London or Glasgow, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our business performance from a very early stage. You'll gain first-hand experience of how an asset manager operates and the skills you’ll need to succeed in this competitive arena. As well as developing analytical and presentation skills, you’ll also learn how to manage key stakeholder relationships – both here in the UK and with our global partners.

During the scheme, a series of personal development modules will be available, enabling you to enhance your commercial awareness as well as your interpersonal skills for the future.

This internship will be based in either our London or Glasgow office.
