Compliance (Closed)

Our Compliance team ensures we’re doing things right and the business always follows the latest requirements and regulations. There’s a real future in this area and if you're an organised, adaptable graduate with an analytical mind and a keen eye for detail – this could be the one for you.

During the two year programme you’ll join our Special Projects & Reporting unit. Here you’ll be part of a team that includes your manager and a previous graduate and you’ll play your part working on various projects such as: retail, wholesale, corporate, monitoring, data protection, financial promotions, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery & corruption and quality assurance.

As well as having your own particular product area to review, other challenges will include:

• Ad-hoc regulatory compliance reviews across different departments.
• Assisting with the management and implementation of new regulatory developments.
• Representing Santander UK in industry seminars and forums, cascading company views on new industry developments.
• Assisting other team members with both qualitative and quantitative analysis on a varied range of issues, e.g. anti-bribery workplan, anti-money laundering and compliance monitoring.

The Compliance environment is fast paced and to keep up with demands you’ll need to be familiar with all of the latest developments. Our teams work out of various locations, each with their own style, but all are welcoming, supportive and will help ensure that you get the best possible start for a successful career in Compliance.

This programme is based at our offices in Milton Keynes and when necessary, you’ll also need to travel to other Santander UK offices.

We’re looking for people who have or will soon hold a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in Business, Law, or Economics. In addition you’ll be a career-minded individual with a can-do attitude and someone who is motivated by challenging targets.
